Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n

Is to establish a quality banking and financial educational department concerned with high academic, research, and professional standards recognized in the future nationally, regionally and internationally<\/p>\n

Message<\/strong><\/p>\n

1- Providing students with knowledge of the conceptual framework of accounting, including the objectives of financial statements, accounting principles, assumptions, and accounting standards.<\/p>\n

2- Understanding the nature of some accounts, including debtors, merchandise inventory, and tangible and intangible fixed assets, in detail and methods of accounting treatments.<\/p>\n

3- Learn the accountant\u2019s job in different accounting treatments and the comparison between them.<\/p>\n

4- Teaching the student to prepare the final financial statements, including the financial position, income statement, and cash flows.<\/p>\n

5- Knowing the importance of preparing various financial statements for the external investor in making investment decisions.<\/p>\n

6- Identifying the inventory adjustments and reconciling the cash<\/p>\n

account.<\/p>\n

7- Study the difference between the accounting principles applied, the cash basis and the accrual basis.<\/p>\n

Objectives<\/strong>
\n1. Fostering participants\u2019 analytical understanding of modern banking and finance in an increasingly internationalized and highly complex financial world.<\/p>\n

2. Enabling participants decision-making and management skills in business environment.<\/p>\n

3. Acquiring the skills, knowledge and competence necessary to build future career.<\/p>\n

4. Enabling participants to find an excellent job in a bank or a financial institution in the Kurdistan Region or other parts of the world.<\/p>\n
