Al-Bayan University organized a scientific workshop under the title: (Environmental pollution of the Tigris and Euphrates and future challenges) on Monday (December 30, 2019) in the central hall of the university. The president of Al-Bayan University, Dean of the College of Pathological Analysis Techniques (Prof. Dr. Kazem Abdul-Amir Al-Zaidi) lectured at the symposium, who introduced to environmental pollution and types of pollution. The lecture also dealt with an explanation of the causes of pollution of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, the main sources of water resources in the country<\/p>\n

Iraq and the seriousness of its future continuation, as well as talking about water resources in Iraq and their consumption, the percentage of salinity in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, their causes, industrial and agricultural waste rates, sewage treatment plants and their current capacity.<\/p>\n
