Within the events of the month of October and with the support of the president of Al Bayan University, Prof.Dr.Haider Talib Al-imara in the aspect of breast cancer awareness, the College of Health and Medical Techniques established under the supervision of the dean of the college, Prof.Dr.Ghaith Ali Jasim, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, arranged an awareness lecture on the early detection of breast cancer.It was given by Lec.Sarah Abdullateef Kadhim,The lecture witnessed a large participation of the students of the College in all its departments and in the presence of the dean of the college and the college.
\nThe lecture was opened by a speech delivered by the respected dean of the College, in which he spoke about the importance of spreading awareness in the community about breast cancer, stressing the need to strengthen the health and preventive culture among Members of society, especially women.<\/p>\n
The lecture dealt with a number of essential topics, most notably:
\n1. Provide an overview of the causes of breast cancer and how it spreads among the ladies of society.
\n2. Introduction of modern detection methods adopted in contemporary medicine and their role in early diagnosis and effective treatment.
\n3. Focus on the essential methods of prevention of the disease and the importance of early detection in reducing its complications.<\/p>\n
The lecture concluded with the appreciation of the dean of the college for the efforts of all participants, professors, and students in recognition of their contribution to the success of this awareness-raising activity.<\/p>\n
