The Technical Engineering College at Al-Bayaan University held a scientific seminar entitled \u201cThe Phenomenon of Drug Use and Psychoactive Substances in Iraqi Society.\u201d The seminar was delivered by Assistant Professor Hasan Salman Hamad, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College, on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, in the Continuing Education Hall.<\/p>\n
The seminar addressed the risks associated with the use of narcotic substances and their psychological, behavioral, and social effects. It also discussed the factors contributing to the spread of this phenomenon and the means of mitigating it within society.
