Within the framework of the College\u2019s efforts to enhance the psychological and professional readiness of its students, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Nursing organized a specialized scientific seminar titled “Student Adaptation in Health Institutions During Clinical Training” on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in the Continuing Education Hall.
\nThe lecturer, Assistant Lecturer Shakir Mahdi Salih, addressed the pivotal role of practical training in health institutions as a fundamental pillar for enabling students to acquire clinical experiences, knowledge, and skills, as well as establishing the behavioral patterns necessary for professional development in the field of nursing.
\nThe seminar also highlighted the nature of psychological stressors that students may face within the actual work environment, reviewing scientific strategies adopted to alleviate tension and manage stress, with a focus on the effective role of clinical supervisors in supporting and correctly guiding students.
