The College of Nursing at Al-Bayan University concluded the first aid course on 2026\/6\/17, which was organized for the volunteers of the “Habbah” Volunteer Team, and lasted for four consecutive days, with wide participation and distinguished interaction from the trainees.
\nAn intensive training program
\nbetween theory and practice:
\nThe course witnessed a comprehensive training curriculum that covered cognitive and practical aspects as follows:
\nTheoretical lectures: Focused on providing participants with the basic knowledge and modern scientific concepts necessary to deal with emergency situations with awareness and wisdom.
\nPractical training: Took place inside the college’s specialized laboratories, where trainees were given the opportunity to apply first aid and rescue skills directly to ensure field performance efficiency.
\nFinal evaluation and honoring participants:
\nOn the final day of the course, the trainees underwent an evaluative test to measure the extent of benefit and to determine the skills acquired during the program period. Following that, participation certificates were distributed to the attendees in appreciation of their commitment and eagerness to develop their humanitarian skills.
\nEnhancing community partnership:
\nFor its part, the Deanship of the College of Nursing expressed its high appreciation for this fruitful cooperation with the “Habbah” Volunteer Team, emphasizing the college’s continuous eagerness to support youth initiatives that serve the community.
\nIn a gesture of thanks and gratitude, the volunteer team presented a commemorative shield to the Deanship of the College, praising its pioneering role in spreading health awareness, building youth capabilities, and activating volunteer energies.
