The College of Health and Medical Techniques at Al Bayan university organized a scientific training course entitled “ELISA Technique principles, applications, and interpretation of results”, on the fifth and sixth of September 2026. The course was presented by Assistant Lecturer Suhaib Raad Qasem, a lecturer at the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques .
\nThe most prominent themes of the course are :
\n– Definition of the technique: highlighting the ELISA technique (ELISA) as one of the most important immunological examination techniques used to detect antigens or antibodies depending on the qualitative link between them.
\n– Mechanism of action: explain the mechanism of the technique based on the use of an enzyme linked to an antibody to cause a color reaction, allowing its measurement and interpretation to determine the presence of the target substance and know its concentration.
