On the occasion of the International and National Days of Older Persons, the College of Nursing at Al-Bayan University held a seminar entitled “Geriatric Nursing”, delivered by Dr. Batool Ali Hassan, Director of the Older Adults’ Health Division, Department of Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases, Public Health Directorate, Ministry of Health, in the Continuing Education Hall of the College.
\nThe seminar addressed the importance of nursing care for older persons and the role of nursing staff in meeting their health, psychological and social needs and in maintaining their quality of life.
