\u200bBased on the Deanship of the college of Health and Medical Techniques’ striving to enhance scientific sobriety and develop the research skills of its students, the Continuing Education Unit organized a training and methodological course labeled “graduation project: from idea to successful discussion”.
\n\u200bThe scientific sessions of this course were attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Musab Majed Abdul Wahab and lecturer Sarah Abdulateef Kadhim, where they presented a comprehensive academic presentation that addressed the basic pillars on which sober scientific research is based, starting from the crystallization of the research idea to the stage of defending it before the discussion committees.
\n\u200bThe scientific curriculum of the course included highlighting a package of methodological axes, most notably:
\n\u200bFormulation of the research problem: the adopted academic mechanisms for selecting the research topic and determining its problem in accordance with scientific developments in the health and medical fields, to ensure the provision of a qualitative addition to knowledge.
\n\u200bMethodological and ethical frameworks: a review of scientific research methods and tools, emphasizing the ethics of academic documentation of sources to avoid scientific plagiarism.
\n\u200bStructuring research and Data Analysis: How to properly structurally build research classes, the objective methods adopted in data analysis, drawing conclusions and discussing them.
\n\u200bPresentation and discussion strategies: providing students with effective communication skills and a well-mastered academic presentation, with scientific guidance to manage the discussion session with confidence and high professionalism.
\n\u200bThis event is part of the academic strategy adopted by the College, aimed at overcoming the methodological obstacles to the students of the completed stages, and ensuring the preparation of student outputs capable of producing applied research that raises the level of the institution.
