As part of the University of Al-Bayan\u2019s commitment to raising awareness of women\u2019s issues and promoting their economic and professional empowerment, the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the College of Education held an awareness seminar entitled \u201cChallenges and Barriers Facing Women in the Private Sector\u201d on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, attended by a number of female faculty members and students.<\/p>\n
The seminar aimed to highlight the major challenges women encounter in private-sector workplaces and examine the social, economic, and professional barriers that may limit their effective participation in the labor market. It also addressed possible approaches to expanding women\u2019s professional opportunities, promoting equal opportunities, and ensuring equality in rights and responsibilities.<\/p>\n
