Ali Adnan Mohammed, a researcher at Al-Bayan University published an article on the Times Higher Education, the house responsible for Times World University Rankings, entitled (Covid-19 has jolted Iraqi universities into the digital era). The researcher pointed to the positive side of the education experience in light of the Corona pandemic, and cited the unique experience of Al-Bayan University in this matter. He indicated that the university was able in a record time to adapt to e-learning and pointed out the success of its experience despite the great challenges that the university faced. He referred to the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to submit research reports by students, in addition to their final exam, and its importance. Last but not least, the researcher indicated how the partial lockdown reduced permanence and rationalized electric energy consumption and encouraged the move towards electronic means of communication. This helped the university’s efforts to maintain environmental sustainability.
