About the college
The technical Engineering College is one of the modern formations at Al-Bayan University. The establishment of this college comes in light of the government’s direction and the needs of the labor market to graduate students in technical specializations who possess modern practical and applied initial skills supported by modern scientific laboratories and advanced scientific curricula under the supervision of an elite group of academics with distinguished academic and practical experience. The duration of study is four years.

Certificate awarded
Graduates of the Technical College of Engineering are granted a bachelor’s degree in engineering technologies, each according to their specialization, and their applications for affiliation with the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate are accepted, and the certificate granted qualifies them to be applied engineers. The first graduates are entitled to apply for postgraduate studies inside and outside the country.

The Technical College of Engineering is distinguished by its openness and interaction with the community by striving to implement courses and training programs for teaching staff from outside the college and the general public, as well as the students’ contribution to teamwork campaigns and social events.

On Saturday, 9 May 2026, the Technical Engineering College commenced the first-round examinations for students of all scientific departments beyond the first academic stage. The examinations were conducted in a highly organized and smooth environment following the completion of all technical and administrative preparations required for the examination process.
