Based on the desire of the Dean of the College of Dentistry / Al-Bayan University and its teaching and supporting staff to launch Al-Bayan University, specifically the College of Dentistry at the university, to reach the ranks of leading universities and colleges, a new strategy has been prepared to develop the College of Dentistry from the year 2021 until the year 2026, based on an analysis of the circumstances surrounding the college in particular and the university. In general, clear paths will be defined for it that will enable it to excel in its performance and achieve successes in teaching and learning, scientific research, institutional development and community participation.
The new college’s vision, mission, and core governing values have become a real motivation for all college members to apply the new college’s strategy, as well as its being based on a comprehensive and accurate strategic analysis with the aim of achieving the strategic goals of providing the best educational level for its students and creating a scientific and research environment that is compatible with the developments taking place in the higher education sector globally.
The educational, research and community service programs offered by the college in its various formations have gained a good reputation in scientific circles, and the university intends to maintain this good reputation and rise to the ranks of prestigious Arab and international colleges, making its graduates a basic requirement in the labor market.
The exceptional efforts made in preparing this strategy represent a great challenge, but the greatest challenge lies in implementing it and confronting the circumstances that hinder its implementation, especially in the field of research and the availability of capabilities, which places on the leadership of the college and university and its members a great responsibility to achieve it, in addition to the redoubling of efforts required. To reach the desired goal and translate its vision, mission and goals within the framework of the leadership we seek.
