Al-Bayan University and Al-Nahrain University in Baghdad have signed a scientific and cultural cooperation agreement, with the attendance of prominent representatives from both institutions. The agreement, signed by the President of Al-Bayan University, Prof. Dr. Haider Talib Al-Amara, and his Deputy for Scientific Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Jabbar Hussein Ali, alongside the Director of Cultural Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thaer Abdul Wahab, aims to enhance scientific and cultural cooperation between the two institutions. In attendance were also the President of Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Shawi, and esteemed faculty members.
The agreement includes several important clauses, such as developing plans and curricula, for corresponding specializations, holding workshops for the faculty members from both universities, conducting collaborative scientific research, and providing joint training programs. Shields were also exchanged between the Presidents of the two universities in appreciation of the efforts made to enhance academic rigor and academia in Iraq.
