As part of the university’s celebration of International Women’s Day, a ceremony was held in its main auditorium on Monday, March 4th, 2024, attended by the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Medin Abdulwahab Jabr, along with female and male deans, faculty members, and administrative staff. Several distinguished female members of the university were honored during the event, including Dr. Nouf Thabit Mahmoud, head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering Technologies, Dr. Mayamin Salman Kazem, head of the Department of Computer Engineering Technologies, and Ms. Zahraa Ahmed from the Engineering Technical College. The celebration also featured a panel discussion on the status of women, along with various activities such as poetry, music, and art.
