The College of Law at Al-Bayan University was held a symposium titled (Iraq’s Need for Arbitration between Reality and ideality) under supervision of the president of Al-Bayan University, Professor Dr. Haider Talib Al-Emara, and the dean of college of law Prof. Dr. Nawar Daham Motar Al-Zubaidi. The speech was delivered by Mr. Marwan Abed Salman, and Mr. Abbas Qasim Mohamed, focusing on the importance of arbitration and the actual need of Iraq for arbitration within Iraqi laws and the international agreements. The symposium was attended by academic staff as well as students.

Under the sponsorship of the United Nations Women and the Supreme Judicial Council, Assistant Professor Dr. Nawar Daham Matar Al-Zubaidi, Dean of the College of Law at Al-Bayan University, took part as a lecturer in a training workshop for investigative judges in domestic violence courts in Baghdad on 5/28/2021.

Assistant Dean of the College of Law at Al-Bayan University, Prof. Dr. Nawar Dahham Matar, participated in a master’s thesis defense entitled “Criminal Protection for the Peaceful Transfer of Power: a Comparative Study” at the Al-Muntazer Hall in the College of Law at the University of Babylon on Wednesday, March 31, 2021). Under the auspices of the President of Al-Bayan University, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Jabbar Ahmed, and with the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Haider Taleb Al-Emara, a seminar entitled “Minors Guardianship Deprivation” was held on Thursday, February 25, 2021. The faculty lecturers delivered the seminar: Lecturer Dr. Abbas Ali Salman, Assistant Lecturer Abbas Qasim Al-Majidi, and Assistant Lecturer Marwan Abd Salman by Google Meet.
