The Dean of the College of Health and Medical Techniques (Prof. Dr. Ghaith Ali Jasim) met with the new staff who was appointed to serve as the new lecturing staff for the College of Health and Medical Techniques in its two departments (the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques and the Department of Kidney Dialysis Techniques ). The meeting revolved around giving some important directions Regarding commitment in service to our dear students and to the educational process.

With support of Al-Bayan University and its continuous encouragement of its members to complete their scientific and academic careers The lecturer from the collage of Health and Medical Techniques (assistant lecturer Mustafa Salim Sharif) discussed his doctoral thesis in the specialty of clinical biochemistry at the collage of Medicine / University of Sousse, Tunisia, under the title (Association of Spexin levels and other biomarkers with newly diagnosed diabetes in postmenopausal Iraqi women) and he received an honors rating.

The Assistant lecturer Fadah Abdullah Mahmoud from the College of Health and Medical Techniques / Al-Bayan University, discussed the doctorate thesis at the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies / University of Baghdad, under the title “The relationship of the genotypes of leptin genes, the leptin receptor, and some parameters studied in blood serum to polycystic ovarian syndrome in a sample of Iraqi women.” The study aimed to find the relationship between Genotypes of leptin and leptin receptor genes and some parameters studied in blood serum with multiple polycystic ovary syndrome in a sample of Iraqi women. Assistant lecturer Faisal Ali Latif, from the College of Health and Medical Techniques - Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques, have discussed the doctorate thesis in physiology at the University of Baghdad, and with the attendance of lecturers from the College of Health and Medical Techniques, Prof. Dr. Shalal Murad and lect. Dr. Safaa Tawfiq and lect. Dr. Samar Thamer and assistant lecturer Haider mossaed and he obtained the doctorate certificate with an honors degree.

On 4/14, the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Health and Medical Techniques/Al Bayan University organized an activity entitled (Awareness Campaign Against Diabetes) under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer. Esraa Salah Mahdi and in the presence of Assistant Lecturer. Sarah Karim Tayeh and with the participation of a group Of students to spread intellectual awareness of this disease and its complications.
