A specialized training course titled Methodology of Writing Graduation Research in the Field of Law” was held, presented by a distinguished group of academic professors: Prof. Dr. Alaa Al-Sailawi, Lecturer Dr. Ali Akram, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Farouq Azzedine. The course witnessed remarkable attendance from students and those interested in the legal field.
During the course, the professors covered a set of fundamental topics, most notably:
• The foundations for selecting a legal research topic and the criteria of originality and significance.
• How to prepare a research proposal and formulate the legal problem statement.
• Scientific research methodologies in law, including analytical and comparative approaches.
• Skills for collecting sources and analyzing legal texts and legislation.
• Scientific documentation standards and methods of drafting findings and recommendations.
Participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss challenges that law students may face while preparing their graduation research. The professors provided a set of practical guidelines that help enhance the quality of university-level legal research.
