The Department of Accounting seeks to prepare scientifically and professionally qualified graduates who possess advanced accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and technological expertise, by providing distinguished education that balances scientific foundations with practical application, linking curricula to local and international accounting standards and the requirements of the Iraqi labor market, within a stimulating educational environment and effective partnerships with the community and professional institutions, to support professional development and contribute to achieving sustainable development.

Work Outcomes and Awarded Degree                                                                        

The Department of Accounting awards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences upon the successful completion of study requirements in accordance with the approved study plan. The program aims to prepare graduates qualified to work in the fields of accounting, auditing, financial control, banks, as well as both the public and private sectors, while equipping them with the ability to keep pace with modern professional and technical developments in alignment with labor market requirements.

In this context, the department proudly celebrates having graduated 7 batches of distinguished competencies to date, who effectively contribute to supporting the accounting and financial sector, reflecting the quality of education and training outcomes provided by the program.
