President of Al-Bayan University Dr. Haidar Talib Al-Emara met with the director of the project “Women talking Peace”, which is affiliated with the German Parliament organizations, Mrs. Michaela Eckert. The two sides also discussed the possibility of cooperation between the University and the German side addressing the environmental situation in Iraq, via a future Iraqi-German partnership, based on the establishment of an environmental institute.

On her part, Mrs. Eckert expressed her desire to have Al-Bayan University host German researchers specialized in the field of the environment. Meanwhile, The President of the University expressed the full readiness of the University to launch this project.
