The Engineering Technical College – Al-Bayan University participated in the second training course dedicated to implementing the Bologna educational pathway, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Najaf province. The course, hosted by Al-Kafeel Information Technology Center, was attended by the heads of the Department of Biomedical Engineering Technologies, Dr. Nouf Thabit Mahmoud, and the Department of Computer Engineering Technologies, Dr. Mayamin Salman Kazem, representing Al-Bayan University, along with a technical team representing the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as several representatives from Iraqi government and private universities.
The course included theoretical and practical training sessions on implementing the Bologna Information System (BIS).
The platform was designed to comprehensively manage the Bologna pathway in all its aspects, including university administration, faculty, student affairs, and exam administration, aiming to prepare trainers and train them on implementing the Bologna system.
The Bologna system is a framework aimed at improving higher education through reforms and agreements between countries, and this course reflects Al-Bayan University’s commitment to implementing the latest technologies to enhance the quality of education and achieve continuous development in the educational field in line with the ministry’s aspirations.
