The Al-Bayan University Council held its fifth regular session for the current academic year 2023-2024 on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. The meeting was attended by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Haider Talib Al-Amara, a representative from the founding body, the Vice Presidents for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, and the Deans of the colleges.
The Council discussed items on its agenda, including the progress of the examination committees for the first-year students’ first semester exams, as well as institutional accreditation at the university and program accreditation in the colleges. The Council also discussed preparations for the second Al-Bayan University Conference on Medical Specialties, issues related to the academic promotion of faculty members, and the granting of academic titles.
The session concluded with discussions on several items aimed at enhancing the academic level of the university students, serving the scientific progress in our beloved Iraq.
