As part of the scientific activities’ series of Al-Bayan University, the Women Empowerment Unit at the College of Education presented a lecture entitled “The Modern Woman: Exploring the development of Women’s Rights and literature,” delivered by the lecturer (Asst.Lect. Aya Yousif Sabah) in the Department of English Language at the College of Education, Al-Bayan University.
The lecture took place on Monday, March 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM and was attended by students and teachers of the English Language Department at the College of Education, Al-Bayan University.
The lecture is characterized by addressing several key axes, including:
Evolution of Women’s Rights: Exploring the history and development of women’s rights in the modern world.
Women’s Literature: Study and analysis of prominent literary works by women and their impact on society and culture.
The Role of Women in Modern Society: Discussion of the challenges and opportunities facing women today and their role in shaping society and social progress.
These axes were presented according to the comprehensive vision of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Education, Al-Bayan University, aiming to enhance interaction and understanding of gender issues and the role of women in contemporary society.
