The Dean of the College of Health and Medical Techiques (Prof. Dr. Ghaith Ali Jasim) participated in the master’s thesis discussion committee as a supervisor for the student (Heba Nabil Miran), which was tagged: The potential activity of proliferation inhibitors and the programmed activity of benzene sulfonamide derivatives by inhibiting the carbonic anhydrase enzyme.

The results showed that the compounds were able to stimulate death and autophagy, with varying effects on the oxidative stress of cancer cells.
