On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the Dean’s Office of the Technical Engineering College at Al-Bayan University organized a scientific visit to Al-Wasiti Teaching Hospital for students of the Medical Devices Engineering Technologies Department. The visit aimed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and provide them with firsthand exposure to the latest medical devices used in diagnosis and treatment.

During the visit, hospital engineers provided students with detailed explanations on the operation mechanisms of medical devices, routine maintenance procedures, and their crucial role in healthcare services. The tour also included visits to various hospital departments that rely heavily on medical equipment for their daily operations.

Assistant Professor Dr. Mohanad Sameer Al Sodani, Dean of the College, emphasized that this visit aligns with the college’s strategy to bridge theoretical education with practical application. He highlighted the importance of preparing students for the job market by equipping them with field experience and enabling them to interact directly with real-world work environments.
