The Continuing Education Center, in collaboration with the College of Pharmacy, organized a training course on the fifth and sixth of April, 2025 delivered by Assistant Lecturer Al-Hussain Safaa Hussein and Assistant Lecturer Maha Hikmat Philip. The course was held in the Continuing Education Hall at the College of Pharmacy. During the session, participants were introduced to the ketogenic diet—a nutritional system that primarily focuses on the consumption of healthy fats while significantly reducing carbohydrate intake, thereby enabling the body to burn stored fat more efficiently. Additionally, the high-protein diet was also introduced, followed by a comparative analysis between the two dietary approaches, including the preferred types of food associated with each. Furthermore, at the beginning of the session, attendees were surveyed about their prior knowledge of these dietary systems through an electronic barcode linked to an online platform.
