The main committee met, chaired by the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Techniques (Prof. Dr. Ghaith Ali Jasim), and attended by the Dean's Assistants for scientific and Administrative Affairs, department heads, the Head of the Quality Assurance section , and the Head of the Program Accreditation Unit . The meeting discussed mechanisms for implementing improvement plans following the completion of the self-evaluation report, along with the improvement plans and conformity report Emphasis has been placed on implementing improvement plans across all standards in order to address the weak indicators in the Medical Laboratory Techniques Department program.  

In the Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry Laboratory of the College of Health and Medical Techniques, an educational workshop was held on how to measure blood sugar. The workshop was supervised by the assistant lecturers Youssef Nazim Abbas and Hiba Khaled Zubairi. Among the important points discussed at the workshop were: 1- Methods of detecting each type of diabetes 2- The primary causes of diabetes, whether they are immune-mediated (as in type 1) or other complications (as in type 2). 3- How to differentiate between different types of diabetes and gestational diabetes. 4- Ways to prevent the disease and how to reduce [...]

The Deanship of the College of Health and Medical Techniques, under the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College (Prof. Dr. Ghaith Ali Jasim) and his esteemed scientific and administrative assistants, followed up on the progress of the Trial Exam for the Medical Microbiology/Second Stage course on March 24th, 2025, and confirmed the college's readiness for the ministerial evaluation exam.The examination process went smoothly and excellently thanks to the efforts of all college members.
