‏Training Course Entitled: Implementation of the European EFQM Institutional Excellence Model in Universities

‏Based on the decision of the Council of Ministers and under the supervision of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Assistant Professor Dr. Shahbaa Shafiq from the College of Pharmacy and Head of the Performance Evaluation Division at the University participated in the training course organized by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. The course focused on the implementation of institutional performance evaluation standards according to the European Excellence Model (EFQM) and was held in Erbil Governorate during the period from April 12 to 17, 2025.

As part of the implementation of the National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security 2025, the Women's Empowerment Division at The Technical Engineering College – Al-Bayan University organized an awareness activity addressing the impact and risks of climate change, in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The activity featured three awareness posters, along with a scientific lecture titled “Global Warming” delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Yasmen Abdulaziz on Tuesday, November 15, 2025.
