The University of Al Bayan concluded the football league championship which witnessed the participation of eight teams that brought together the university students and their professors. The presidency of the university honored the team from the College of Pharmacy for winning the trophy, while the team of the College of Pathological Analysis Technologies was the runner-up and was honored by the Dean of their College. Prizes were awarded to the best player, as well as to the tournament's top scorer.

To strengthen cooperation between institutions of higher education and the development of scientific level for students, Al Bayan and Baghdad universities signed a memorandum of understanding according to scientific requirements based on solid foundations in the fields of research, teaching, and development. The memorandum dealt with enhancing the ways of developing work between the two universities in the use of laboratories, the central library, and partnership in scientific research.
