On Saturday, February 11, 2017, the College of Law students started taking their midterm exams. The students of the College of Pharmacy and the College of Business Administration took the final exams for the first Semester. The students of the College of Pathological Analysis Technologies took the theoretical examinations for the first semester. The President of the University visited the exams halls to see the progress of the examination process, wishing the students more excellence and diligence and their studies.

Al-Bayan University signed a bilateral memorandum of understanding with the University of Huddersfield from the United Kingdom on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. The two universities agreed to cooperate in several scientific fields: joint research projects, exchange faculty members, and the organization of collective academic activities like seminars, lectures, and conferences. Also, they agreed to exchange educational materials and other information of common interest. The two universities emphasized the opportunity to students for the development of their scientific and cognitive knowledge, and to continue the communication between Al Bayan University and the University of Huddersfield on a regular basis.
