The Women’s Affairs Unit at the Technical Engineering College – Al-Bayan University organized a lecture titled “Excel Basics – Your First Steps Toward Mastery.”

The event was attended by Dr. Mohanad Sameer Al Sodani, Dean of the Technical Engineering College, the Administrative Assistant, several faculty members, and a group of students.

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Jasim Hussein Lafta, who covered the fundamental concepts of Excel, its importance in statistics, table preparation, and data analysis. This initiative aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as part of the Third National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security (2025), particularly under the pillar of participation and institutional reform, which aims to enhance students’ skills in statistics and data collection.

The session witnessed significant engagement from students, who actively participated in discussions and provided valuable suggestions. This reflects the importance of such workshops in developing technical skills and improving academic proficiency.
