The Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance makes efforts to care for people with special needs and overcome the difficulties they face during their academic years. Many proposals requested by the Guidance Division have been implemented by the university presidency, including:

  1. Communicating with students with special needs in university colleges to overcome the difficulties they face.
  2. Allocating a parking space for students with special needs in the university parking lot (2), marking it and a parking sign only for students with special needs.
  3. Facilitating the use of electric elevators by students with special needs in student halls and laboratories and providing them with a special card for the purpose of using it.
  4. Allocating modified western bathrooms for the use of students with special needs and a visa with a special needs sign.
  5. Modifying the sidewalks of university streets to allow students with special needs to pass to buildings and sidewalks easily and conveniently using a wheelchair.
  6. Instructing the deans of colleges to allocate study seats for people with special needs in the front row of classrooms.
  7. Instructing the deans of colleges to name students with special needs by naming students with special needs.
