Enabling and providing university women, including faculty members, female students, and employees, with skills, knowledge, and experiences, and working to develop and improve them to make the members of this segment productive societal elements and effective, efficient leaders who contribute and participate in decision-making and influence its formulation and strategic activation, in a way that meets the nation’s need in the current and future stage.
Goals:
- Empowerment through Recognition: Elevate the presence of women in leadership roles within the Ministry of Higher Education by implementing a system that acknowledges and promotes women’s competencies and achievements, ensuring equal opportunities for advancement based on merit.
- Empowering women in science: Strengthening women’s scientific capabilities in higher education in light of the rapid progress in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation by facilitating and supporting their effective participation in both local and international conferences, providing resources and guidance to encourage their contribution to research and innovation, and supporting young female researchers who demonstrate talent. - Gender-integrated planning and integrating considerations and perspectives related to equality and equal opportunities into all the Ministry’s plans and programs, in line with achieving the fifth goal of the sustainable development goals.
- Advocacy and education to increase community awareness of women’s rights and status and the importance of combating domestic violence through organizing educational courses and research conducted in cooperation with specialized centers, and empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to promote equality.
