About the college
The Technical College of Engineering (TCE) is a College of Engineering Technology. TCE is the most recent formation at Al-Bayan University. The establishment of this college comes in light of the government’s orientation and the needs of the labor market by graduating students in technical disciplines who possess initial practical and applied skills in the light of modern scientific laboratories and advanced scientific curricula under the supervision of a group of academics with distinguished academic and practical experience.

The Technical Engineering College aims to develop highly skilled and specialized engineers with a solid analytical thinking that meets the local, national and regional demands in the vast domain of engineering innovation. Being a pillar in the community and national industry is core component in the college’s belief system.

Certificate awarded
Graduates of the Technical College of Engineering are granted a bachelor’s degree in engineering technologies, each according to their specialization, and their applications for affiliation with the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate are accepted, and the certificate granted qualifies them to be applied engineers. The first graduates are entitled to apply for postgraduate studies inside and outside the country.

The Technical College of Engineering is distinguished by its openness and interaction with the community by striving to implement courses and training programs for teaching staff from outside the college and the general public, as well as the students’ contribution to teamwork campaigns and social events.

The Engineering Technical College – Al-Bayan University participated in the initial events of the Youth and Agricultural Future Conference in Iraq, which commenced in Baghdad on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, at the Baghdad International Fairground, under the slogan ‘Youth-led Leadership in the Agriculture, Food, and Climate Sector.’ The conference, sponsored by Prime Minister Engineer Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, head of the Supreme Youth Council, is scheduled to take place from March 6th to March 8th, 2024. The Engineering Technical College – Al-Bayan University participated in the second training course dedicated to implementing the Bologna educational pathway, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Najaf province. Al-Bayan University participated in the Arab Universities Union Conference held at the University of Baghdad. The university’s participation included showcasing its scientific achievements through its pavilion. Commencing on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. The course was organized in collaboration with the Continuous Education Center at Al-Bayan University and was conducted by lecturer Dr. Safa Laith. It aimed to enhance the specialized skills and capabilities in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting medical devices, as well as fostering an understanding of their usage and applications within the medical field.
