This course is part of the Good Health axis, one of the axes of sustainable development, and aims to highlight the most important detection methods, how to observe the initial suspicious behaviors of addicts, medical and non-medical treatment methods, rehabilitation for addicts, as well as clarifying the most prominent drugs that availabl in the Iraqi drug market with dual therapeutic and excessive use and the harmful effects resulting from them, and ways to identify and detect them, with a range of details related to their pharmaceutical forms, commercial and street names, and the regulation of their therapeutic uses within the technical and legal controls approved by the Ministry of Health and the Iraqi Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law .
The course lasted for two days, Monday and Tuesday, February 19-20, 2024, and was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Atheer S. Alsabah
