In its relentless pursuit and continuous endeavor to achieve sustainable development goals and contribute to keeping pace with modernity and global progress, Al-Bayan University organized a scientific seminar entitled “Introduction to Geothermal Energy.” The seminar featured Dr. Salah Al-Ansari, the Executive Director of the Spanish engineering company AspacTech, and Mr. Adrian Cardy, the Sales Director of the Spanish company EcoForest specializing in renewable energies. The seminar was attended by the university president, Dr. Haider Talib Al-Amara, along with several deans, faculty members, and students.
The seminar, which was coordinated with the Technical Engineering College – Department of Mechanical Power Engineering, witnessed active participation and engagement. It aimed to introduce the mechanisms of harnessing geothermal energy and how to utilize it as part of the search for diversified renewable energy sources.
