The student (Zahra Jabbar mojbel) discussed her master’s thesis at the College of Pharmacy / Mustansiriya University entitled (Evaluation and effect of ascoletin on the microbial disorder in the intestine in myocardial infarction rat model)
In the presence and supervision of the dean of the College of Health and Medical Techniques(Prof.Dr.Ghaith Ali Jasim al-Zubaidi).
The main objective of the study was to evaluate the therapeutic effect of escoletin on the imbalance of intestinal microflora caused by myocardial infarction by analyzing inflammatory indicators and histological evaluation of male rats. The results of the study found that giving the highest dose of esculetin (60 mg / kg) the best results in terms of improving bowel function, restoring intestinal microbial balance, as well as improving histopathological changes and their degree. In addition to enhancing the anti-inflammatory defense mechanisms by inhibiting the gene expression of NLRP3, which also contributed to the further improvement of histological changes and their degree.
