With the presence of the Dean of the Technical Engineering College, Professor Dr. Mohanad Sameer Al-Sodani, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college organized an awareness lecture entitled
“Domestic Violence… A Silence that Threatens the Family and Society,”
delivered by Dr. Ban Salman Shukur.

The lecture addressed the dangers of domestic violence and its social and psychological impacts, emphasizing the importance of fostering a culture of dialogue and mutual respect within the family as a means to reduce this phenomenon.

During his remarks, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohanad Sameer Al-Sodani, highlighted the importance of organizing such activities, which enhance students’ and society’s awareness and contribute to building a university environment that supports the values of understanding and human cooperation.
