As part of strengthening joint cooperation with health institutions and activating practical training programs, Senior students (Community Health branch) from the College of Nursing at Al-Bayan University participated in a specialized scientific awareness lecture.
The lecture was held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in collaboration with the Public Health Directorate at the Ministry of Health, and was delivered by a specialized team from the National AIDS Control Center.
The lecture focused on defining the risks of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Viral Hepatitis, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). A detailed explanation was provided regarding globally adopted prevention mechanisms and methods to limit the spread of these diseases, highlighting the role of nursing cadres in community health education.
This activity comes as part of the practical training requirements for students, aiming to integrate theoretical knowledge with field applications.
