In conjunction with the Iraqi Week for Combating Drugs, faculty members at the College of Nursing, in collaboration with senior students, organized a field awareness campaign within the university campus.
The campaign included the following activities:
•⁠ ⁠Distributing educational brochures regarding the dangers of addiction.
•⁠ ⁠Elucidating the negative health and psychological effects of narcotics.
•⁠ ⁠Providing preventive guidelines to enhance health awareness among the youth.
This initiative reaffirms the College’s commitment to safeguarding students. Furthermore, it seeks to consolidate the concept of “The Nurse as a Health Educator” and a fundamental partner in protecting the future of the youth.
