In the Continuing Education class and under the title (a nation without drugs)The college of Health and Medical Techniques/continuing education unit organized an awareness lecture on the use of drugs and psychotropic substances in the Iraqi society, where Dr.Bushra Abdul Hadi Jassam and Dr.Osama Abdel Moneim is a charity and one of the most important things that the lecture touched upon:
1-definition of drugs and types of psychotropic substances.
2-presenting the reality of the spread of abuse in Iraq in modern figures and statistics.
3-analysis of the causes and social and psychological factors leading to abuse.
4-discuss the health, social and security implications.
5-putting forward possible preventive and therapeutic solutions and programs.
