The Technical Engineering College at Al-Bayan University held a scientific seminar entitled “Wind Power System” on Sunday, 23 November 2025, in the Continuing Education Hall at the College building. The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Raed Anam Ghaeb.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohanad Samir Al-Sodani, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Nouf Thabit Mahmoud, the heads of departments, as well as a distinguished group of faculty members and students.
The seminar addressed mechanisms for generating energy from wind and the modern technologies used in this field. It also discussed the role of renewable energy in supporting national efforts to adopt sustainable energy sources.
The organization of this seminar comes as part of the College’s commitment to enhancing the scientific knowledge of its students and supporting contemporary engineering activities, in line with the state’s vision to promote renewable energy projects.
