As part of its ongoing efforts to keep pace with the latest global systems in quality and safety management and to reinforce the concepts of a safe academic environment, the Occupational Health and Safety Unit at the college organised a specialised scientific seminar entitled: ‘The Fundamentals of SQI and its Applications in Educational Institutions’.
The seminar was held on the morning of Tuesday, 25 November 2025, in the Continuing Education Hall, and was hosted by Dr. Karam Jassim Mohammed, a researcher at the Scientific Research Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The seminar was distinguished by its serious scientific approach, through which the lecturer highlighted the essential aspects of the SQI system, reviewing the mechanisms for transforming these standards from mere theoretical frameworks into concrete practical applications within the university campus. This step aims to enhance the efficiency of educational institutions and ensure the application of the highest safety and quality requirements, which will have a positive impact on the outcomes of the educational and research process.
