In response to the kind invitation from the Scientific Research Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and within the framework of constructive cooperation between academic and ministerial institutions, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hasanain Faisal Ghazi, gave a specialised scientific lecture as part of the activities of the (Scientific Research Qualification Course – Level II/Applied). .
The lecture was entitled: ‘Scientific Publishing Strategies and Research Impact Measurement,’ and was held on Monday, 24 October 2025.
During the lecture, Dr. Ghazi reviewed the latest global methodologies in academic publishing and the mechanisms for measuring research impact, which is a fundamental criterion in the classification of universities and researchers. The workshop was attended by a distinguished group of members of the Scientific Research Authority and featured in-depth scientific discussions that contributed to the exchange of views and the development of the skills of those present, thereby serving the cause of scientific research in Iraq.
