The Technical Engineering College at Al-Bayan University organized a continuing education workshop on the use of the LaTeX program on Tuesday, 2 December 2025. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mayameen Salman Kadhem and aimed to develop the skills of the teaching staff and enhance their capacities in preparing research papers and academic theses in accordance with the latest internationally adopted standards.

The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohanad Sameer Al-Sodani, his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs, as well as a number of faculty members and students. The attendees commended the efforts made to promote a culture of lifelong learning and to support the professional development of the teaching staff.

The workshop included a practical explanation of the program’s features and mechanisms of use for formatting and preparing scientific documents, in addition to hands-on applications in which the participants took part. There were also valuable interventions that enriched the workshop’s themes and contributed to the exchange of expertise among participants.

The workshop concluded with wide acclaim from the participants for the richness of its content and the distinguished delivery by Dr. Mayameen, emphasizing its importance in supporting academic work and developing the skills of instructors within the university.
