The College of Nursing, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Centre at Al-Bayan University, held a specialised training workshop entitled ‘Your Guide to Successful Academic Publishing,’ delivered by Professor Dr. Hasanain Faisal Ghazi. A number of lecturers and postgraduate students from various Iraqi universities participated in the workshop.

The workshop focused on the fundamentals of successful academic publishing, addressing how to choose the appropriate scientific journal, identifying and avoiding predatory journals, mechanisms for preparing research for publication, and how to promote research and increase its impact.
The workshop also discussed the challenges related to manuscript rejection and ways to deal with it, offering a set of practical tips to help researchers increase their chances of getting their research accepted.
