Al-Bayan University received a delegation of students from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology – Department of Software at Wasit University, as part of a scientific visit organized to coincide with the activities of the Investment and Entrepreneurship Exhibition hosted by Al-Bayan University from 3 to 4 December 2025.

The delegation was welcomed by the Dean of the Technical Engineering College, Prof. Dr. Mohanad Sameer Al-Sodani, along with his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs. The visiting students took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition and reviewed the participating projects, which were presented by the university’s students in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The visit also included an extensive tour of the laboratories of the Technical Engineering College, during which a scientific lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sinan Qahtan on one of the latest applications of artificial intelligence. Faculty members from Wasit University expressed their admiration for the advanced laboratories and infrastructure at Al-Bayan University, in addition to a guided tour introducing them to various campus buildings and facilities.

On the sidelines of the visit, an agreement was reached to strengthen academic cooperation through the exchange of scientific expertise and the organization of reciprocal visits between faculty members of the two universities, in a manner that supports joint academic and research efforts.

This visit comes within the framework of implementing the memorandum of understanding signed between Al-Bayan University and Wasit University and expanding opportunities for collaboration between the two institutions.
