The College of Health and Medical Techniques organized an awareness lecture entitled”Gender Equality in the work environment” presented by Assistant lecturer Mustafa Mohammed Hamoudi, as part of the college’s efforts to promote awareness of the culture of equity and equal opportunities between the Sexes.
The lecture aimed to highlight the importance of a supportive work environment for everyone, and to highlight the basic principles that ensure effective and balanced participation between the sexes, and one of the most important things touched upon in the lecture:

1-definition of gender equality.
2-to identify the extent of women’s contribution to work in all countries of the world.
3-to identify the extent of the difference in labor wages between the sexes in the world.
4-familiarization with the ISO 53800 gender equality standards
