Al-Bayan University \ Technical Engineering College organized a scientific seminar entitled “From Vision to Reality: Creating Smart Cities of Tomorrow” on Sunday, 14 December 2025, in the Continuing Education Hall within the Technical Engineering College building.

The seminar was delivered by Dr. Maryam Qutaiba Abdul Razzaq, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies. The presentation addressed the concept of smart cities and the mechanisms for translating future visions into practical implementation, with particular emphasis on the role of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in achieving sustainability and enhancing service delivery.

The event was attended by the Dean’s assistants for scientific and administrative affairs, as well as a number of faculty members and students. It also featured scholarly interventions and valuable academic discussions that enriched the seminar themes and strengthened scientific engagement.
