In pursuit of the college of Health and Medical Techniques, the Continuing Education Unit at the College organized a training course on diabetes and how to diagnose it early, where the course was given by assistant lecturer Doaa Abdul Aziz Sobhi, assistant lecturer Rusel Adnan Daoud and assistant lecturer Raghda Nasser Mohsen, the course introduced the following paragraphs:
1- Introducing the participants to the concept of diabetes and its different types.
2- clarifying the pathological mechanisms of diabetes and its physiological effects on the body systems.
3- Identify the approved laboratory and clinical diagnostic methods for diabetes.
4- Highlighting the latest methods of treatment and control of blood sugar levels.
5-statement of acute and Chronic Complications of diabetes and ways to prevent them.
6- Develop the skills of health staff in dealing with diabetes patients and follow-up.
7- promoting of health awareness of the importance of prevention and early detection of the disease.
8- Review the latest guidelines and protocols adopted in the management of diabetes.
